KMR GEAR UP FOR SUPERTWIN ASSAULT ON NW200
Ryan Farquhar brings his ultra professional KMR outfit to this year’s Vauxhall North West 200 with his sights firmly set on victory. Despite a late setback when Hudson Kennaugh withdrew from the meeting, Ryan already had local hotshot Lee Johnston signed to ride the Air Ambulance N.I. KMR Supertwin and has pulled off a late coup by replacing Kennaugh with 12 times NW200 winner Michael Rutter on his second Kawasaki Supertwin, running in IEG/KMR livery. Farquhar, with over 200 Irish road race victories to his name, was forced to retire after crashing heavily at the 2016 NW200 while dicing with Dan Cooper.
Ryan commented, ‘After the way the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance helped me last year it was only right I gave them something back. We’re disappointed the big bikes won’t be getting a run out here but they will be ready for the TT and that leaves me to concentrate on going all out for glory on the Supertwins this week!’
